What are skin boosters?
Skin boosters are advanced cosmetic solutions applied using micro-needling or RF fractional delivery systems to help improve hydration, elasticity and skin quality over time. At Central Coast Aesthetics Laser Clinic, we offer:
- Xtyde Exosomes (Exmide): Regenerative boosters derived from exosome technology
- NCTF (New Cellular Treatment Factor): A polyrevitalising solution containing hyaluronic acid and over 50 active ingredients
These boosters are used as add-ons to SkinPen® Microneedling or RF Microneedling for enhanced results. Skin boosters are recommended in a series of 3-4 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, and are used as a targeted boost during SkinPen® or RF fractional sessions.
NOTE: These are cosmetic topical treatments, not TGA-regulated medicines, and do not treat or cure skin conditions.

Our process.
- Add-On During Microneedling or RF
After creating microchannels through SkinPen® or RF, your selected skin booster (Xtyde or NCTF) is infused into the skin. - Post-Treatment Recovery
Booster application does not add downtime. You may experience redness from the needling itself for 1-3 days. - Ongoing Support
A course of 3-4 treatments is ideal. We’ll guide you on post-treatment skincare to maintain hydration and glow.
FAQs.
Are skin boosters like injectables?
No. These are topical cosmetic treatments applied via microneedling, they are not injectables or prescription medicines.
Is there downtime?
Downtime is the same as microneedling (1-3 days of mild redness). The booster itself causes no extra downtime.
Can I use a skin booster without microneedling?
They are most effective when used in conjunction with microneedling, which allows the ingredients to reach deeper layers.
